Funding

NDIS, Medicare, Health Funds and Other Government Funding for our Services

Our Occupational Therapy Services can attract rebates and other forms of funding depending on your eligibility.

Other than for the Occupational Therapy Mental Health Plan, our counselling services do not attract any government or health fund rebates.

National Disability Insurance Scheme – NDIS

Adelaide Night and Day Family Therapy are registered Providers for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

For Children and Adults who are living with Disability, our Occupational Therapists, can provide services across a wide range of disability. Sensory Issues, Muscle Tone, Fine and Gross Motor Skills, Handwriting, Behaviour, Toileting, Eating, Dressing and other Activities of Daily Living

 

Helping Children with Autism

Our Allied Health professionals are highly experienced in  Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and our Occupational Therapist is on the Helping Children With Autism provider panel.

If your child is living with an ASD and under 6 years of age, they may be eligible to receive up to $12000 in our Occupational Therapy services.

They must have an appropriate diagnosis:

  • Autistic Disorder
  • Asperger’s Disorder/Syndrome
  • Rett’s Disorder
  • Childhood Disintegrative Disorder
  • Pervasive Developmental Disorder – Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS)

They must be registered through Autism SA

Our therapy includes the provision of resources where appropriate. Up to 35% of the funding may be used for resource provision, provided it is an item required for theraputic intervention. We are able to assist or work with other therapists in providing the best outcome for your child.

After 6 years of age there are also a wide range of Medicare items particularly for those living with an ASD.

 

Better Start for Children with Disability

Our Allied Health professionals are highly experienced in  a wide range of disabilities and our Occupational Therapist is on the Better Start provider panel.

If your Child is living with disability and under 6 years of age, they may be eligible to receive up to $12000 in our Occupational Therapy services.

They must have an appropriate diagnosis:

  • Down syndrome
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Fragile X syndrome, or
  • a moderate or greater vision or hearing impairment, including deafblindness.

They must be registered through Carers SA

Our Therapy includes the provision of resources where appropriate. Up to 35% of the funding may be used for resource provision, provided it is an item required for theraputic intervention. We are able to assist or work with other therapists in providing the best outcome for your child.
