NDIS, Medicare, Health Funds and Other Government Funding for our Services

Our Occupational Therapy Services and Mental Health Social Workers can attract rebates and other forms of funding depending on your eligibility.

Other than for the Mental Health Care Plan for Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Social Workers, our counselling services do not attract any government or health fund rebates. However there are many other rebates available for different items, difficulties and conditions.

National Disability Insurance Scheme – NDIS

Adelaide Night and Day Family Therapy are registered Providers for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

For Children and Adults who are living with Disability, our Occupational Therapists, can provide services across a wide range of disability. Sensory Issues, Muscle Tone, Fine and Gross Motor Skills, Handwriting, Behaviour, Toileting, Eating, Dressing, other Activities of Daily Living, Minor Home Modifications etc.

Our Mental Health Social Workers can also provide assistance in a number of therapeutic areas.

Adult Funding Streams

For Adults Occupational Therapy We can receive referrals that can use the following funding streams

  1. Medicare items
  2. Home Care Packages as part of the My Aged Care and Consumer Directed Care services
  3. Occupational Rehabilitation Work
    • Return To Work SA
    • Motor Accident Commission
    • DCSI Funded Work
    • DPC Funded Work
    • DPTI
  4. Medico Legal Work

 

Helping Children with Autism

Our Allied Health professionals are highly experienced in  Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) .

The Helping Children with Autism funding stream has transferred to the NDIS, and we are able to assist in the following Areas:

  • Autistic Disorder
  • Asperger’s Disorder/Syndrome
  • Rett’s Disorder
  • Childhood Disintegrative Disorder
  • Pervasive Developmental Disorder – Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS)

After 6 years of age there are also a wide range of Medicare items particularly for those living with an ASD.

 

Better Start for Children with Disability

Our Allied Health professionals are highly experienced in  a wide range of disabilities. This funding stream has transferred to the NDIS, and we are able to assist in the following Areas:

  • Down syndrome
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Fragile X syndrome, or
  • a moderate or greater vision or hearing impairment, including deafblindness.

After 6 years of age there are  a wide range of Medicare items particularly for those living with disability.
