Attuned Psychology and Adelaide Night & Day Family Therapy Partnership

Adelaide Night and Day Family Therapy has partnered with Attuned Psychology for many years to meet the expectations and needs of our Clients, and to work together to provide outcome s in a broad range of issues, topics, and mental heath presentations

Most of Adelaide Night and Day Therapists are mental health trained, not all are able to receive medicare or health fund rebates for Mental Health Sessions. Together we offer many different styles of therapies across the mental health space. Our Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Social Workers and Psychologists are AHPRA – Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency registered, and as such can receive medicare referrals from authorised medical practitioners, and also receive rebates from Health Funds. Our other Counselling and Family Therapy Staff are not AHPRA registered but bring many years of experience to the table.

Adelaide Night & Day Mental Health Occupational Therapy

Three of our Occupational Therapists are mental health endorsed, and as such can receive Medicare referrals for Focussed Psychological Strategies in the same way that registered Psychologists can. They can accept Mental Health Care Plans for Focussed Psychological Strategies.

Johanna deKort, Sarah Wolfel and Louisa Di Fiore are all mental health endorsed Occupational Therapists, and bring different perspectives and skill when looking at issues of behaviour, mental health, emotional issues and overall wellness. All have between 10 and 25 years experience and are also able to see clients with issues of co-morbidity, in terms especially of mental health issues and disability.

Adelaide Night and Day Family Therapy Mental Health Social Work

Anne-Marie Newham is our Mental Health Social Worker. Mental Health Social Workers come with similar training, endorsements and Professional Development as Mental Health OT’s and Psychologists.

Mental Health Social Workers have special endorsement from AASW, (The Australian Associaltion of Social Workers) to be able to receive Mental Health Care Plans for Focussed Psychological Strategies.

Attuned Psychology at Glenelg

Our partnership with Attuned Psychology means that we can refer to Psychologists at both our Glenelg Site and North Adelaide Site.

Family Therapy and Counselling

Our experienced Counsellors uses different modalities of counselling, our Principal Therapist Brett Williams.

Brett comes from outside the medical model of mental health therapies and brings different skills, training and experience to the table in looking after you.
